We’ve completed one week of the work on Atma Yoga, and the destruction phase is well and truly over. We removed 18 cubic meters of rubble on Thursday and Friday nights last week - those were the internal walls.
At the moment we’re working on countersinking every one of the nails in the 220 square meters of flooring using nail punches and hammers, in preparation for sanding the floor.
This evening Elliot brought the guests over from the Loft for a tour of the place. We’re aiming to open on Monday 13th March.
The phone went on today. The new phone number for Atma Yoga is 3210-1183. I bought a Uniden 5.8GHz cordless phone with two handsets, one for each side of the floor. They say “Atma Yoga #1″ and “Atma Yoga #2″ on their displays.
We have volunteers coming in throughout the day, from 9 am to 9 pm, so one of us is always there to engage and facilitate people.
With the regular Loft programs, with the cooking and yoga class, the Sunday feast program (more on that later), and Devamrita Swami here at the moment we’re spread pretty thin for the Atma Yoga renovations, but Krishna is God, so anything’s possible!
Today’s thought: “We need to have professional quality, without professional mentality.”

I’m really impressed Sita-pati, I wasn’t sure if you could do it but it’s happening!! : )
