Yesterday my spiritual master, His Holiness Devamrita Swami dropped over for lunch. We invited a few people around, and Maharaja talked for about half an hour, casting vision about urban missionary preaching. I recorded it using the WCE6T microphone, both to get a good recording, and also to allow Gurudeva to get used to it before the Sunday Feast program today.
Here’s the recording:

The recording is good but it is hard to hear the guests. Is it possible to add an extra recording microphone to capture what the guests are saying?

Divya, I had exactly the same thought the moment the guests started speaking. Yes, in future I can connect my trusty MZ-R50 with it’s condensor mic and compressor and capture the room whenever the guests start speaking.
while transcribing this lecture/talk i find that some words, particularly at the beginning or end of sentences, are difficult to understand. i suspect that’s because of the compression or noise-reduction. it’s ok to listen to, because you get the overall-idee even if a few words are missing, but to accuretely transcribe the whole thing is difficult.
do you have an original, uncompressed version of this podcast i can download, or is that processing done during recording?
