I’ve got a new site design, which comes courtesy of Justin Baeder of Radical Congruency.
My previous template rocked because it was very simple and direct. Easy to read. This new design is a little more complicated, a little more busy, but it has a few things that I really wanted:
- Wordpress 1.5 - better spam protection, so I stop getting hundreds of bogus messages a day.
- Amazon plugins that work, so I can easily link to books that I am reviewing
- Bust out the comments on the front page so that you don’t have to go searching through the articles to find them
Let me know what you think of the new design. You have to read it, so your opinion is important to me.

It would look cool if you can you wrap the “Virtual Pen” title around the pen cap. So that it looks like its written on a cylinder rather than flat text ontop of a picture.
Great look prabhu. Nice to have a change.
new design is great. a much better pen at the top too.
I still vote for the old design - the same reasons as you put below. But since the new one has stuff yu really want. Haribol…

I’m a keen reader of you blog. I really like your enthusiasm and dedication to what you are doing. It’s great! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
The old design was resfreshing in its simplicity. It was much easier to read. I find the new one messy. My eyes get tired with it. It really reduces my eagerness to read. It looks like a lot of things are squeezed too tightly.
Also, I preferred the colors of the old design. Red and white gave energy. It corresponded nicely with your style of writing. It was dynamic. I find your new colors blunt, almost depressive!
Sorry, but I’m kind of disappointed with the new design. It’s too mediocre for your message and personality, in my opinion. Even the pen on the topbar looks pretentious
It is a nice pen, but not the best one. The old one was maybe cheap and available for everyone, but it was spontaneous - as if you had just caught it from somewhere to scratch down an innovative idea!
What you write is still more important, so I’ll take the austerity and keep visiting
No questions about the pen. Prabhu please lets go back to the old pen. The new pen is a bit too busy. The old pen looked simple and spiritual
