Today we had the disappearance festival for His Holiness Bhakti Tirtha Swami. I took the day off work. It was very emotional.
Here are three short presentations made by my friend Krishnapada, a disciple of Bhakti Tirtha Swami, about his Guru Maharaja. They are wmv video files that should play in xine, kaffeine, windows media player, or similar.
- Gurudeva. (5.7MB, .wmv) This is a slide show of images of His Holiness Bhakti Tirtha Swami, a truly remarkable personality.
- King of Kirtan. (7.2MB, .wmv) This is a slide show of images of His Holiness Bhakti Tirtha Swami dancing and singing in kirtan, as many devotees remember him, in Brisbane, Australia. In the second picture, Krishnapada is the tall, red-headed devotee standing behind Vrajadhama, for those of you who know Vraj, but not Krishnapada.
- Samadhi. (7.6MB, .wmv) These are images of His Holiness Bhakti Tirtha Swami leaving his body. The greatest victory of the Spiritual Warrior.
I am quite emotionally exhausted at the moment, so I won’t be writing for a while, while I’m in an internal phase.
