At the moment we are looking for a new house to make our home. We have been in Australia for six months now and are moving to a more long-term stable situation. Three years in South America have their consequences. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world; it was a priceless experience. At the same time, you don’t get rich going there to do volunteer work, unless you are Francisco Pizarro or one of his merry men.
We are trying to get a place close to the temple; but I am also conscious that every morning I have to make the pilgrimage to the office, so I am interested in simplifying my life by spending only a few minutes running to the train station each morning to get my exercise, and then riding the train for a few stations to arrive at work just on time. That means that we need a place on the trainline that goes to my office, and close by it.
Ahhh… the balancing act between material and spiritual life…. =)
